17 May 2024, Cape Town โ The Business of Entertainment on CapeTalk, hosted by Martin Myers every Thursday at 9 pm, has enjoyed a stellar year since the show’s launch in May 2023.
With no less than 52 episodes aired, all focusing on global inspirational leaders in The Business of Entertainment, the show continues to attract a growing audience on-air and online.
Hosted by Music Exchange founder Martin Myers, this weekly half-hour reveal delivers bespoke and exclusive insights into the minds and careers of award-winning creatives, with a strong focus on the business side of the creative industry.
Each episode offers listeners a candid, focused conversation between Myers and his carefully selected guest on The Business of Entertainment, be it music- books-, philanthropy-, film-, mental health- or sports-focused, at its core, anything to do with the leisure rand and how it is expended, post creation.
Myers says, “The conversations are always focussed on being entertaining and inspirational, peppered with true stories, first-person accounts and invaluable tips from the people who’ve made a successful living from their craft.
“We bring key executives and trailblazers onto the station to delve into every aspect of their entertainment business reality.”
