His love for music and performance dates back to his first stage appearance at just 10 years old in the theatre production Bugsy Malone. 

‘Fleeting Romance’ marks  first official radio release since his 2020 international collaboration ‘Want What You Can’t Have’ (The Remix), which featured Cape Town’s  and vocalist Ej Von Lyrik (GODESSA). In 2024, he also released the EP ‘Legends Never Die’, which included the soulful duet ‘Perfect Mood’ with Monique Hellenberg.

At the production helm of Fleeting Romance is Ebrahim Mallum, (pictured below) one of South Africa’s most sought-after producers, whose career spans back to 1995. 

With ‘Fleeting Romance’, Roeshdien and Mallum have crafted a contemporary yet nostalgic hit that encapsulates the excitement, intensity, and impermanence of passionate love. The track is a testament to Roeshdien’s evolution as an artist and his ability to push musical boundaries while staying true to his soulful roots.
