Annabell Lebethe CEO of SAMRO on CapeTalk Thursday 2 October just after 9pm

Annabell Lebethe  is CEO of SAMRO (The Southern African Music Rights Organisation) will be in Studio at Cape Talk on Thursday 2 October  just after 9pm on the Business of Entertainment in conversation with Martin Myers.

Prior to this, Annabell  served as CEO of Ditsong Museums of South Africa, a group of eight museums that falls under the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture.

 She also previously held the position of interim CEO of the Performing Arts Centre of the Free State, CEO of the Market Theatre Foundation and CEO of the National Arts Council, in addition to several other leadership roles during her career. As listener Naren Sewpaul  remarked after last weeks discussion with Annabell: “Your approach was professional, and conversationally engaging. It brought out the essence of what the audience needed to hear. Most of all, Annabell felt comfortable to speak openly and honestly. A UCT graduate and founder of the NPC Music Exchange, publicist and music manager, Martin Myers began his career in the music industry running UCT Radio at the University of Cape Town in 1985. For 16 years, Martin was BMG/Sony Musicโ€™s Cape Town publicist.
