Cape Town โ As Childline Western Cape marks 30 years of unwavering service to children, the organisation is proud to present its flagship fundraising concert, Healing Through the Arts.
This highly anticipated annual event brings together exceptional musical talent and a powerful cause, raising critical funds to sustain and expand child protection services across the Western Cape.

For three decades, Childline Western Cape has served as a lifeline for vulnerable children who are at risk of, or have experienced, abuse and trauma.
Through its 24-hour toll-free helpline, therapeutic services, prevention and early intervention programmes, and advocacy initiatives, the organisation continues to defend childrenโs rights, amplify their voices and ensure their safety.
As part of the Childline South Africa network, Childline Western Cape actively engages with government and key stakeholders to strengthen the national child protection system and create lasting change.
The South African NPO sector is currently under severe financial pressure, and Childline Western Cape is not immune. Rising operational costs, reduced donor funding and an increasing demand for services have placed immense strain on the organisation.
To ensure that essential services remain accessible to the most vulnerable members of society, Childline Western Cape urgently needs to raise R1.5 million by 31 March 2026. Healing Through the Arts is a critical component of this fundraising effort.
โThis concert is both a celebration of our legacy and a call to action,โ says Childline Western Cape. โFunds raised will be vital in sustaining and expanding our services, ensuring that every child in the Western Cape has access to protection, care and hope.โ
The inaugural Healing Through the Arts concert will be hosted at the esteemed St Georgeโs Cathedral in Cape Town on Friday, 6 March 2025, at 19h30.
The evening will feature two outstanding performances: the Kyle Shepherd Trio and Benjamin Jephta Presents Homecoming Revisited.
Entry is R500 per person, with bookings available via Webtickets platform.
