Cape Town, South Africa – Acclaimed singer-songwriter Matthew Mole has returned with his latest single and music video, “In My Head,” releasing an upbeat, pop-leaning indie-folk offering ahead of his highly anticipated Kirstenbosch concert on Sunday, 8 March. 

Recorded in a remote cabin in the mountainous, of the Karoo, “In My Head” explores the emotional weight of feeling lost in a world without loved ones. The track moves seamlessly from moments of melancholy into uplifting, feel-good nostalgia, capturing the introspective yet hopeful spirit that has become Matthew’s signature.

With more than 240 million streams worldwide and multiple Gold and Multi-Platinum certifications to his name, Matthew Mole continues to rise as one of South Africa’s most successful musical exports. “In My Head” showcases his growth as both a songwriter and producer, blending heartfelt storytelling with infectious melodies.

The release comes at an exciting time in Matthew’s career. Fans can catch him live at Kirstenbosch on 8 March, one of his very limited South African performances this year, before he heads abroad for his first of two European tours in 2026, running from 7–27 April.
